  • Jeff Puckett, P.E.

    President and Engineering Manager

    Mr. Puckett joined JDH&A in 1994 and bears overall responsibility for the firm's operations. In carrying out this responsibility he applies a meticulous attention to detail to ensure that the firm's deliverables meet, or exceed, client expectations. Mr. Puckett is a 1992 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He holds an NCEES Record Certificate and is licensed to practice engineering in fourteen states.

  • Jeff Scholl, P.E.

    Vice-President and Engineering Manager

    Mr. Scholl joined JDH&A in 1997 and is responsible for the firm's engineering processes. He provides specific experience in the field of geotechnical exploration having started his career logging exploratory borings with a geotechnical engineering company. Aside from his professional training, he also brings a keen personal interest in geology, which is a valuable resource in evaluating and designing HDD installations. Mr. Scholl is a 1995 graduate of the University of Missouri at Rolla with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering. He holds an NCEES Record Certificate and is licensed to practice engineering in ten states.

  • Dylan Bruntzel

    Project Manager

    Mr. Bruntzel joined JDH&A in 2006 after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He has worked on most of the firm's key projects throughout North America. His experience in the design and installation of HDD crossings can only be described as extensive. He functions as a project manager within the firm with responsibility for delivering services that meet, or exceed, client expectations.

  • David Patonai, P.E.

    Senior Project Engineer

    Mr. Patonai joined JDH&A in 2012. He is a 2010 graduate of the University of Nevada in Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining JDH&A he was a member of an engineeering team supporting the operations of a United States Naval Reactor Facility in Idaho. Mr. Patonai has also served on active duty as a tank crewman in the United States Army National Guard. He is licensed to practice engineering in the State of Oklahoma.

  • Luke Bever

    Project Engineer

    Mr. Bever joined JDH&A in 2013 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is certified as an Engineer Intern in the State of Oklahoma and is currently pursuing licensure as a Professional Engineer.

  • Austin Miller

    Project Engineer

    Mr. Miller joined JDH&A in 2014 after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is certified as an Engineer Intern in the State of Oklahoma and is currently pursuing licensure as a Professional Engineer.

  • John Hair

    SENIOR CONSULTANT

    Mr. Hair founded JDH&A in 1987 and is a recognized expert in the field of horizontal directional drilling (HDD), having been intimately involved with the development and application of HDD technology since 1980. Mr. Hair is a 1974 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He retired from full time employment in 2018 but continues to assist JDH&A in a consulting role.
